Abstract (EN)
This thesis examines the historical, socio-cultural, economic, and political structures of the Lezgian community from a multidimensional perspective, analyzing its social dynamics and future outlook. The first chapter focuses on the historical development and demographic characteristics of the Lezgian community, detailing its cultural heritage, traditions, beliefs, and elements such as art and literature. The impacts of climate change, healthcare services, and the use of technology on the community are also evaluated. The second chapter addresses the economic and political status of the Lezgian community, exploring demographic and socio-economic structures alongside education, economic activities, and political participation. The importance of cross-border trade and the social implications of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Dagestan are significant topics. Notably, the social and political struggles of Lezgian women and international recognition efforts contribute to a deeper understanding of social dynamics. The third chapter offers a sociological perspective on the future of the Lezgian community, examining globalization, cultural sustainability, the role of youth, and the effects of digitalization. Efforts for identity preservation within the diaspora, environmental awareness, and social cohesion are discussed, evaluating the community's position in the face of various challenges and opportunities.
