Abstract (EN)
Today, the efforts of businesses to integrate with technological developments and to adapt to the intensifying global competition conditions create a basis for growth in activities. The employees of the enterprise have the biggest share in this progress and growth. In this case, the most important factor supporting growth and development is recognized as employees. Employees consist of different age and gender groups, cultures and beliefs. In most of the studies stating that this diversity provides high efficiency in the organization, the increase in efficiency is seen to depend on leadership behaviors and the work values of the employees. Therefore, this study aims to examine the work values and leadership perceptions of employees with different demographic characteristics. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of Demographic Information Form, Work Value Scale and Leadership Behavior Scale was applied to a sample group of 321 people. Of the 321 participants, 9.35% were members of Generation X (1965-1979: 30 people aged 57-43), 59.50% were members of Generation Y (1980-1999: 191 people aged 57-43), and 31.15% were members of Generation Z (2004-2000: 100 people aged 22-18). As a result of the research, work values and leadership perceptions showed significant differentiation according to demographic characteristics. In addition, it has been determined that Change and Employee-Oriented Leadership behaviors significantly affect business values
