Abstract (EN)

In this study, complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) cations have been synthesized by using ethylenediamine (en), 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen), acetate (Aco) chloride, isothiocyanate ligands. The geometries of the complexes have been established by of IR, UV-visible spectroscopies, magnetic succeptibility, TGA, molar conductivity and element analysis thecniques. It was established that the synthesized complexes have octahedral and distorted octahedral geometries. Some of the synthesized complexes have bicentered structure. By using molar conductivity technics, it was established that some of the synthesized complexes have ionic structure. While some of the synthesized complexes have exhibited semiconducting properties, on the other hand, the complexes have cloride ligands did not showed semiconducting properties and have lower electrical conductivity values. Keywords: Metal complexes, solid state, electrical properties.
