Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to reveal the differences in adventure seeking, flow experience and leisure satisfaction levels of outdoor recreational activity participants according to various variables. It is also aimed to test the relationship between adventure seeking, flow experience and leisure satisfaction. 1340 (Averageage= 34,85±13,06) participants who voluntarily participated in the outdoor recreation in different provinces of Turkey. "Adventure Behavior Seeking Scale" (ABSS), "Recreational Flow Experience Scale" (RFES) and "Leisure Satisfaction Scale" (LSS) were used as data collection tools in the study. Participants replied the scale forms online via the Google Forms application. In the analysis of the data obtained, independent samples ttest, ANOVA, MANOVA, and Pearson Correlation analyses were applied. In addition, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was used to determine the relationship between the scales included in the study. According to the research findings, it was shown that the ABSS, RFES and LSS scores differentiate significantly according to the variables of gender, age, marital status, difficulty in recreation, and frequency of participation in activities. It has been shown that the main effect is significant on the RFES and LSS scores of the participants according to the variables of education, monthly income, recommending participation in activities, annual number of participation in activities and participation'type in activities. Also, according to the variables of education, monthly income, recommending participation in activities, number of annual participation in activities, and participation' type in activities ABSS, it was determined that while the scores in the Weather Conditions as dimension differentiate significantly, they did not differentiate significantly in the Water Dangers as dimension. According to the results of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, it has been determined that ABSS has a direct significant effect on LSS and that ABSS has a mediation role of RFES on (LSS). As a result, with the increase in the frequency of participation in recreational activities, the level of adventure seeking, flow experience and leisure satisfaction also increases. It is thought that these results will be useful in the development of policies and
