Working conditions of mine workers and the measures taken to be in the mines

Mines are areas that contain many risks in their nature. For this reason workers who work in mines have been exposed occupational accidents occupational diseases. The fact that the mines are so dangerous has laid the gorundwork for the protection of the miners. In this study, the working conditions of mining workers, the hazards encountered by miners, the effects of mining accidents on miners and their relatives, the occupational diseases to which miners are subjected are covered by the International Labor Organization. In addition legal responsibilities of miners occupational accidents and occupational diseases and negligence of these cases have been assessed. In this respect legal arrangements made in our country and in comparative law in relation to Occupational Health and Work Safety in terms of mining workers, and whether these regulations are reflected implementation are examined in the context of various deta. In the first part of the three-part work, the appearance of miners in international regulations an the reflaction of their national legislation are discussed. In the secound part, the legal arrangements for mining workers are examined in the working conditions of mining workers and labor law legistation in our country. In the last part, the legal guarantees provided in case of mining workers exposure to occupational accidents and occupational diseases are discussed. The study was based on International Labor Organization conventions and other international regulations. Important regulatory ıssues have been examined and legal arrangements in our national legistation have been discussed. The statutory regulations for mining workers in our country have been prepared in accordence with majer international regulations. However, there have been some problems in pratice.
