Abstract (EN)
The acceptance that led to the emergence of this thesis is to seek a basis for the reflections of scientific and technological advances in our age on the human body and mind from the ideas of Descartes, Leibniz and La Mettrie in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It is said that with the accelerated artificial intelligence studies, machine learning and uploads today, the human mind can be copied and even transferred to other systems. Thus, the idea that the soul or mind is separate from the body in Descartes' soul-body dualism is expressed as if it can be realized. In addition, Leibniz's thought, which reduces all matter to simple substances and adopts what exists as a monad, is interestingly similar to today's computational thought. This approach, which sees everything as consisting of information, imagines a universe without space. It is said that life without matter is possible. Despite this, the approach of today's scientific and technological advances that knowledge, mind, thought or reason cannot occur outside of material foundations, as defended by La Mettrie in the past, maintains its freshness.
