Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of the use of macro-synthetic fiber (MSF) as an additive material in reinforced concrete beams on the behavior of reinforced concrete beams were investigated. For this purpose; a total of 6 beams with 0%, 0.4%, 0.6% MSF ratios were produced by volume. All beams are designed in dimensions of 150x230x1400 mm. Transverse reinforcements are chosen as Ф8 / 20 cm, pressure reinforcements 2Ф12 and tension reinforcements 2Ф14 in beams. It is designed so that all physical properties such as, the distance between supports, effective shear distances and beam effective height are the same. MSF contribution in the experiment; the effect of 28-day compressive strength and the mechanical and physical properties of beams under the three-point loading test were compared with test beams (beams with 0% MSF dosage). The findings such as maximum load bearing capacity, energy absorption capacity, ductility and maximum displacement value of the MSF contribution were studied with the help of the displacement (mm) graphs formed at the midpoint of the load (ton)-beam obtained by the three-point loading experiment. During the experiment, the behavior of beams under increasing load was recorded and load crack formations were interpreted.
