Abstract (EN)

Cancer is one of the deadly diseases worldwide, which is one of the first in our country. This disease is not limited to the region where it is located, and affects the surrounding tissues, as well as negatively affecting the control mechanisms in cell cycle regulation. In this study, different concentrations of ceranib-2 were applied to RAW 264.7 cells and the cytotoxicity effect was determined by MTT method after 24 and 48 hours of incubation. At the end of this incubation period, significant decreases were observed in mitochondrial activity, dose-related percentage of viability, starting from the lowest concentration at which ceranib-2 was applied and the IC50 concentration was determined. Annexin V method was used to determine the apoptosis status in cells and confocal microscopy method was used to observe morphological changes in cells. The data obtained as a result of these methods were observed and statistically analyzed. It has been determined that Ceranib-2 has cytotoxic and antiproliferative effects in RAW 264.7 cells depending on the dose concentration and time applied.
