Abstract (EN)
It is known that metal plates and screws used in maxillofacial surgery should be removed because of their disadvantages. In consequence of this requirement, it is started to investigate the properties of resorbable materials which do not need a second surgical intervension. In this review, the biomechanical properties of resorbable plates and titanium plates/screws, known as golden standart, are reported.
