Abstract (EN)

This study was carried between 2019-2020 out in Malatya Turgut Özal University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, Research and Application Area, and department laboratory. Yield, and fruit quality characteristics were examined, in the experiment. The Frigo seedling method was used in the experiment and, plantings were carried out in the open field, in two ways as Autumn and Spring planting. The earliest flowering of strawberries grown in the open field in Malatya conditions was observed on 13 April in the "Fortuna" variety in autumn planting and on 23 April in the "Fortuna" variety in spring planting. The first harvests were taken on May 8, "Festival" in autumn planting, and "Fortuna" on May 17 in spring planting. Yields per plant were obtained in "Kabarla" varieties with 487.5 g/plant in autumn planting and "Albion" with 447.91 g/plant in spring planting. In terms of fruit size, the largest fruits in autumn planting are 18.39 g/fruit "Rubygem" variety, the smallest fruits 10.26 g/fruit "Albion", the largest fruits in spring planting 15.09 g/fruit "Rubygem" are the smallest fruits 7.63 g/ fruit were taken from "Camarosa" varieties. "Albion" with the highest value of 0.70 kg in autumn planting of the hardest fleshy fruits, the lowest value of 0.48 kg in "Fortuna" with the highest value of 0.66 kg in spring planting, "Camarosa" with the lowest value of 0.51 kg. Obtained from Rubygem" cultivars. In terms of water-soluble dry matter/acid ratio, the highest value in autumn planting is 10.22%, "Albion", the lowest value is 7.71%, and "Fortuna", the highest value in spring planting is 10,5%, "Camarosa", the lowest 7.50% "swell" was obtained. Fruit color is highest in autumn planting (L) fruits (33.6) 'Festival' lowest (17.2), 'Albion' spring planting highest (L) fruits (37.5) 'Rubygem' lowest (35,6) "Fortuna' 'was taken. Color intensity (C) highest fruits in autumn planting "Camarosa" (42.8), lowest in "Festival" (38) highest fruits in spring planting "Rubygem" (41) lowest in "Kabarla" (35.3) was taken. The darkest red-colored (ho) fruits were determined in "Camarosa" (26.8) in autumn planting and "Kabarla" (20,1) in spring planting. In terms of pH ratios, the highest value in autumn planting (4.44) "Camarosa" lowest (3.21) "Albion' 'spring planting highest value (3.79) "Camarosa" lowest (3, 10) Obtained "Kabarla". According to the results of the evaluation, "Albion", "Camarosa" and "Kabarla" cultivars were determined as the cultivars that best adapted to Malatya conditions.
