Abstract (EN)
Peridynamics is used for cracks which occur from materials, and it is a powerful and challenged method for a lot of applications. Its success is coming from modeling the discontinuities like cracks with using nonlocal integral operators instead of derivatives. In the recent years, interest for peridynamics is increasing, and there are a lot of researches in theory and applications. In peridynamics, discretization of an equation constitutes the first step in obtaining numerical solutions of a problem. The condition number resulting from the discretization determines the convergence performance of the numerical solution of the problem. For this reason, the studies on understanding and obtaining the condition number of a discretized peridynamics problem gains importance. Aksoylu and Unlu (2014) identified the behavior of the condition number and found a sharp upper bound depending on "regularity of the fractional Sobolev space s, mesh size h and size of nonlocality, and they proved the sharpness of upper bound both in theory and numerically. In this study, we deduce the dependence of subdomain size H adding to the results of dependence parameters found by Aksoylu and Unlu (2014).
