Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, dijet jet mass cross-section measurement is performed in the |y| ≤ 2.5 rapidity range using 35.9 fb^(-1) p-p collision data obtained from the CMS detector located on the LHC at √s = 13 TeV in 2016. Measurements are presented as a function of the dijet mass and the maximum rapidity of the dijet system. Detector effects were removed by using advanced data unfolding techniques. Theory and data comparisons were made using the NNLO calculations of the perturbative QCD theory. The measurement is used in a comprehensive QCD analysis in next-to-next-to-leading order to understand the effect of the measurement on the determination of the PDFs.
