The steppe dialect of the Crimean Tatar language on the examples of Memet Nuzet's works —analyse, text, dictionary—

Among the modern Turkic dialects, The Crimean Tatar language has generally been little researched. One of the less researched subjects of Crimean Tatar is the dialects of Crimean Tatar. Dialects of the Crimean Tatar language are generally divided into 3 groups: Northern, Southern and Middle (Ortayol) dialect. Today's standard Crimean Tatar is based on the Middle dialect. The Northern dialect of Crimean Tatar is still the least used dialect. In this study, we examined the phonetic features of the Northern dialect of the Crimean Tatar language in the example of the works of Memet Nuzet and determined its vocabulary. Our thesis has been prepared by examining the written culture. Memet Nuzet is one of the few poets who wrote in the Northern dialect of the Crimean Tatar language. Hundreds of poems written by him were considered to be suitable for the investigation of the Northern dialect of the Crimean Tatar language. At the end of the thesis, there are the texts that are the basis of the study and the dictionary sections where the meanings of the words in these texts will be given. In the section called the Vocabulary of the Northern Dialect of the Crimean Tatar, the words specific to the Northern dialect are listed in the table with their Standard Crimean Tatar and Turkey Turkish equivalents. Our thesis aims to make a contribution to the dialectology of the Crimean Tatar and to the research of the Northern dialect of the Crimean Tatar.
