Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY Objective: Objective measurements have an important place in the evaluation of voice disorders. Therefore, the first aim of our study is to create a database of the normative values of voice analysis parameters of the healthy Turkish female population and to evaluate the variations that will occur during the menstrual physiological state. Method: In the study, 30 healthy participants living in Istanbul with normal physical findings, dysphonia, etc., without any voice disorders, the average age was 35.6, the average height was 160.73 and the average weight was 61.96, voice samples of /a, /e/, /i/ were recorded and voice analysis was performed. Pair Sample t-test was used to evaluate the results. Results were considered significant if p<0.05. Results: When the results were compared, no significant difference was observed between the mean F0 values, but the Fo value of the /i/ vowel sound was higher than all of them. A statistically significant decrease was observed in the F0 value when the menstrual period was compared with the normal period. The mean jitter and shimmer values of the premenstruation period were observed to be higher than the other period. However, no significant difference was observed in the jiter and shimmer values of the menstrual period. The mean NHR values of the premenstruation period were higher than the other periods. This increase was statistically significant between premenstrual and menstrual periods for both /a/ and /i/ vowels. F1 and F2 values in the menstrual period were observed to be higher than the other period. However, no significant difference was observed in the menstruation period F1 and F2 values. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, minimal changes in some perturbation parameters and a decrease in the fundamental frequency were observed in the premenstrual period.
