Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the chorosomal loci of QTL(s) associated with genes controlling the Fe concentration in seed of lentil (Lens culinaris Medic.). The LR-11 RIL population, which has 118 individuals formed by crossing ILL 8006 and CDC Milestone parents, has been planted in 3 locations (İzmir, Adana ve Sanlı Urfa) in 2012 and 2013. Seed Fe concentrations of the individuals of populations were ranged from 37.2 to 175.7 mg/kg The total length of the linkage map is 497.1 cM and the average distance between two adjacent markers is 0.12 cM. It was found that, in total 4,177 GBS based SNP markers are located on 7 linkage groups. As a result of the QTL analysis, a total of 21 QTLs localized on the 1., 2., 4., 5., 6. and 7. linkage groups were determined. These QTLs are accounted for 5.9-14.0% of the phenotypic variation. LOD values were ranged from 3.00 to 4.45. Identification of these genomic regions will be useful for biofortification studies involving the development of new lentil varieties with high Fe concentrations in seed.
