Abstract (EN)
In this study, 89 samples taken at three different depths (0-30 cm, 30 - 60 cm, 60 - 90 cm) from 30 defined points in the Meriç Delta National Park region within the borders of the Enez district of Edirne province were analyzed. Analyses such as macro and micronutrient analyses and soil texture were carried out. With the help of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), salinity maps and distribution maps of the values of other findings were made with the obtained data. Correlations revealed several relationships between soil properties. While a robust positive correlation was observed between clay and organic matter content, EC (electrical conductivity) showed high positive correlations with calcium, potassium, and sodium. In addition, soil salinity (EC) shows the highest correlations with calcium, potassium, and sodium, while it shows a low negative correlation with organic matter content. According to the data obtained, soil salinity levels vary considerably, and higher salinity levels are observed, especially in areas under the influence of irrigation water. This situation highlights the importance of irrigation methods and water quality in agriculture.
