Abstract (EN)

While turning into an open economic model with the amendments of 24 January, integration of financial markets with the foreign markets brings them to a position where they became more intensive to the shocks. Since 1980, the Turkish economy has faced with many shocks. In particular, of those shocks which are monetary based, have occurred at a time of structural transformation. The aim of this study, in this context, while examining the effects of policies conducted by Central Bank on money multiplier, analyze the consequences of monetary shocks with the DSGE model, which is recently have been in use by many central banks. The stability of money multiplier is necessary for the consequences of the monetary shocks to be valid. The study covers the period between 1985Q4 and 2011Q2.
