Abstract (EN)
The study titled "Statistical Convergence of Metric Valued Sequences" consists of five parts. In the first part, brief information is given about the studies conducted in literature. In the second part, some basic concepts to be used in the following sections are given. In the third chapter, basic concepts related to statistical convergence and lacunary statistical convergence, a generalization of metric convergence, are mentioned. In the fourth section, a few relations between the statistical convergence of order α of the real number sequences for the real number α∈(0,1] and the strong p-Cesàro convergence of order α are given. The fifth part is the original part of the study and is organized under two subheadings. In the first part of this section lacunary statistical convergence and strong p-Cesàro convergence of metric-valued sequences are defined and some correlations between these concepts are proved. In the second part: 1) Lacunary d-statistical convergence of order α is defined, 2) Strong lacunary pd-Cesàro convergence of order α is defined, 3) The relationship between lacunary d-statistical convergence of order α and strong lacunary pd-Cesàro convergence of order α is given.
