Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to search relationship between organizational performance and passenger satisfaction and employee satisfaction. Therefore, a survey to measure passenger and employee satisfaction was executed among the employees and passengers of public transportation organization in İzmir. The employees and customers can describe the organizational performance the best since they are the important components of public transportation. In organizational performance studies individual performance is measured because of its close relevance.Important factors of organizational performance can be identified by means of the employee satisfaction and employee performance detection criteria. It has been found that the most important factors which affect corporate performance are identification of the business motivation, personal development, personal care, the relationship between employees, and the internal environmental impact. In addition, it is observed that as the education level increased the personal performance increased.Continuous surveying on customer or repeating research at regular intervals helps service providers to follow satisfaction trends and determine the effect of changes. Evaluation of organizational performance by passenger satisfaction measurement which can be set through external factors.Since employee satisfaction affect may factors, it can be seen that the corporate performance is influenced in a positive or negative way. Employee satisfaction affects corporate performance, corporate performance affects passenger satisfaction, so employee satisfaction affects passenger satisfaction. Managers must not consider only look passenger satisfaction but employee satisfaction as well which is the true source of corporate performance, not only in one direction allowing for the creation of corporate performance in both directions.As a result, this study has revealed that in determining organizational performance in public transport sector employee satisfaction together with the customers? (passengers) has played an important role.
