Abstract (EN)

Recording studios are music production spaces that incorporate architectural acoustics and industrial technology. The acoustic comfort conditions of the environment, as well as the characteristics of the electronic equipment used in the recording studios, have an impact on the recording quality of the sound. Sound recording studios, which have created a great mass interaction and financing in the world with the industrial change, have been divided into various classes. Home recording studio is one of them. With the technological change, recording studios have been reduced to the users' homes thanks to digital programs and small-sized recording equipment. In this developing process, home recording studio has started to take its place in the literature. Home recording studios have their own design paradigm, unlike professional studios, as they are integrated into existing rooms in existing residences. Existing residences, which have insufficient space for users, bring along the search for dual-functional spaces that can respond to the dynamism of life. However, in the market to improve acoustic comfort conditions, accessing acoustic materials is costly for most users. In this study, noise control in the existing bedrooms in existing buildings, the arrangement of acoustic comfort conditions and volume acoustic parameters with various design approaches and the use of economical, accessible and easily applicable flexible acoustic materials for users are examined in a way that can respond to the dual-functional space.
