Abstract (EN)

Various methods are useful for microalgal growth in a controlled manner. In this study, firstly, 1L of bubble column photobioreactor was designed to produce microalgal biomass. Then, Borodinellopsis texensis was grown in Bold Basal Medim (BBM) at the different wavelengths (white, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red) in 1L bubble column photobioreactor and biomass content, specific growth rate, pigment contents, total nitrogen and phosphate removal percentage values were calculated. The maximum biomass content was 283.88 mg•L-1 at the blue wavelength. The highest SGR was 0.20 gün-1. When we carried out chlorophyll contents of Borodinellopsis texensis grown in various wavelengths, the maximum value for chlorophyll content was 4.87 μg•mL-1 at the blue wavelength. Also, we examined total nitrogen and phosphorous removal from Borodinellopsis texensis. The maximum nitrogen and phosphorous productivity were 76.25 % and 61.50 % at blue wavelength, respectively. In conclusion, Borodinellopsis texensis can be grown in 1L of bubble column photobioreactor for the maximum biomass, specific growth rate, total nitrogen and phosphorous removal. At the next studies, larger reactor can be designed for high biomass production from Borodinellopsis texensis.
