Abstract (EN)
Corn, used in human food, animal feed and various fields of industry, is an important plant with wide adaptability. This study aimed to determine the effects of different doses of microbial fertilizer on yield and yield components of three corn hybrids in 2021 and 2022. In the experiment, which was carried out in Afyonkarahisar ecological conditions designed by a randomized complete block with three replications, the effects of different doses of commercial microbial fertilizer named EMA PLUS of 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2.0 mg/L on maize hybrids P0937, P0537 and Sy Andromeda were examined. Maize hybrids were placed to main plots and microbial fertilizer doses to sub-plots. Cob length, cob diameter, cob weight, stalk weight, thousand grain weight, hectoliter weight, grain yield, ash content, fat content, protein content, starch content, acid detergent fiber, and neutral detergent fiber traits were investigated. According to the combined analysis results of the two years, it was determined that there were significant differences among maize hybrids in terms of the examined traits. The highest average yield was determined in P0937. In addition, different doses of microbial fertilizer significantly increased grain number per cob, grain weight per cob, stalk weight, grain yield, thousand grain weight, protein ratio, oil ratio and ADF ratio. Especially MG2 dose increased these characteristics. Microbial fertilizer was effective in increasing potassium, phosphorus and magnesium content in grain. As a result, there were significant differences among maize hybrids and variety selection was important. It was concluded that microbial fertilizer doses also positively affected grain yield and yield characteristics and MG2 dose should be used in maize.
