Poetry journal registered in number 06 Mil Yz FB 464 in the National Library (V.:1b-109b) (Review-text translation article)

The present study aims to add a new one to poetry journals which have important contributions to the literature research. Therefore, the journal no. 06 Mil Yz FB 464 in the Manuscripts Department of the National Library will be studied. Journals, which play an important role in the collection and preservation of the texts of classical Turkish literature according to a certain order, are of great importance in terms of revealing the poems that are not found in the divan poetry, the unknown poets, the literary taste of that period, and the poems that are liked and written in reply. An important part of the poems in this work reviewed were written by poets who lived in the 17th century. The poems included in the Journal are texts written by people of a certain educational level. These texts can be created in the verse or prosaic structure or in a mixed structure of verse-prosaic. The subject of the present study is a poem created in the verse structure. Poems created with Arabic letters between the pages of 1b-109b were converted into the Latin alphabet through the transcription method. The poems of the poets included in the journal were compared with printed divan poetry and poetry journals studied previously in theses. The differences in the poems and poems that were not included in the divans of poets were shown in the footnotes. As a result of the study, a total of 83 poets determined in the journal consisting of 109 leaves. These poems were created by various verse forms such as ode, encomium, musammat, and kıt'a.
