Abstract (EN)

This study sets forth what the imperialist targets upon Ottoman Empire, whichconcluded its historical mission at the beginning of 20th century, and how the greatpowers realized their objectives in the regions. Detailed information concerning theKurdish and Armenian insurgencies in the Eastern and South Eastern Anatolian Regionsduring the era starting from 19th century and ending in the I. World War has beenprovided. .Following this information, the activities conducted by English, who wish tocapture the Mosul region, upon the Kurdish to leave the Turkish in predicament afterthe Moudhros Armistice Ceasefire Agreement. In this regard; the formations whichwere tried to be established in Istanbul and in the south of Iraq, the reactions towardsthere formations, and work of Captain Noel are particularly focused on. Detailedinformation concerning the activities of Captain Noel and the reflections of thisprogram are given together with the new information and sources.National reflex during the national struggle period and the measures taken againstKurdish activities which was tried to be formed with the encouragement of Englishgiven in another section of this study. In addition, information concerning the works ofgreat powers, particularly England, upon the Kurdish following the signing of Treat ofSevre and related meeting as well as the results of these works is also provided.Key words: Kurdish, English, Mosul, Captain Noel, Society for the Ascension ofKurdistan, Sivas Congress.
