Application of solar, light and natural air condition in architectural design, Iran

Since the beginning of the history of humanity until today, the value of the Sun and the Light is always known and as the value given increases, so does the care given to using it prudently. In this age, it is possible to see that this attitude is widespread. The investments made in energy sector are rapidly increasing. Fossil fuels will end in time and also it is necessary to use renewable energy sources due to the harm caused by fossil fuels. It is emphasized that enabling the indoor air quality, which is very essential in the buildings, by natural ventilation methods is important. It is a well-known fact that the indoor air quality inside the structure has a profound influence on human health and working efficiency. According to some studies conducted, it is indicated that the level of air pollution indoor environment, where people spend an average of 90% of their lives, is often higher than outdoor. For these reasons, ventilation will be required in the constructions of all sectors; thus, harmony will be fulfilled in living standards using natural methods. It is stated that living was easier for people in the past in terms of health. However, industrialization eases the lives of people and jeopardizes people's health accordingly. Architects design a life, not only accommodation for people. At the design stage, the basic thought is always a healthy life. In this study, the relation of Solar, Light and natural ventilation with human health, generation of usable energy, its effects on architectural design, design criteria, traditional and contemporary examples will be examined. Taking the traditional design as an example, due to the widespread use of sun and light, a healthy life, environmental friendly design in modern architecture, in which natural sources are used for energy, is being studied in the sense of both humanity and environment.
