Abstract (EN)
Microreactors for Fischer Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) have drawn intense interest from both academia and industrial reaches groups recently. They provide alternative solution to traditional reactor drawbacks. They conduce fast heat and mass transfer by reducing transfer distances. They lead drop in industrial capital cost and they have miniature size benefits. Syngas as a reactant of FTS is very rich about raw material and it can be produced form coal biodiesel. While FTS can be called as candidate to dominate future energy systems, it requires great heat and mass transfers about product selectivity. So, it is come up with microreactors for multi-phase flows. Taylor flows is used to perform gas-liquid reaction in microchannel and it is efficient for harsh reactions with large transfer area. There have been many reaches for investigating it performance in different area. In this thesis, It was investigated Taylor floe hydrodynamics which is lead heat and mass transfer by vortex is between slug and bubble with controlled and exact Taylor flow. The difference of this study from literature is using the real reaction gas and liquids. The study can be divided four parts. In first part It is identified the velocities which is forming exact Taylor flow in 1 mm micro channel with L, Y, T type connection. In the second part dimensionless number is calculated and the obtained bubble and slug lengths are compared with the modellings in literature. Then, the following it is suggested new models up to slug and bubble length in different reactor and gas type with high correlations. Lastly, the models are regulated as independent form gas type to calculate bubble and slug length as three equations which is representing reactor connection type L, Y, T. As a result, it is determined there are high efficiency of velocity on bubble and slug length while gas type is poor effect on them. So density, surface tension, and viscosity of the gas is come about as efficient parameters and Cannel connection type is more active on them.
