Mir'atu'l-Iber (I. volume)

Diyarbekir, one of the important science and cultural centers, has trained many statesmen, artists and nurtures. Said Pasha (b.1248-1832 - d.1309-1891) of Diyarbekir was one of the scholars who trained by Diyarbekir, he had done various duties in the state, he has also written many works on language, eloquence, history, logic, mathematics. Our study covers the first volume of nine-volume Mir'atu'l-Iber by Said Pasha of Diyarbekır. In the introduction part of our study, information about history books written in the field of Classical Turkish Literature is given. In the first part, Said Pasha's life, literary personality and his works are included. In the second part, the work is examined in terms of language, style and content. In the third part, the text of the first volume of the work of Mir'atu'l-Iber is located. In our study, it was aimed to examine the first volume of Mir'atu'l-Iber work and to present it to the benefit of the world of knowledge.
