Abstract (EN)
Considering the existence of humans in the history scene in the light of scientific findings, from the sociological point of view, it is seen that the predator struggles to make sense of himself and the community he lives in as well as the struggle for self-existence. Unlike all other creatures in nature, the human being, who can build the information he has produced, has created the concept of the story in order to transfer his experiences to the next generations, and in this way he tried to maintain a manageable and controllable relationship with life. Over time, these concepts have created the phenomenon of culture, and these stories have evolved into myths and ancient narratives as a control mechanism. When we consider today's mass media, it is observed that these narratives are still on the basis of the media and mass communication both in terms of purpose and content. It has been observed that the basic functions of the media form control, informing, legitimacy and certain behavior patterns. In this study; Theories like Carl Gustav Jung's Archetypes Theory, Concept of Representation and Storytelling have been determined as theoretical basis. Qualitative content analysis method was used in the study, and samples that represent the universe in the context of ancient narratives, myths and myths recycling in terms of both cultural and content formation.
