Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this thesis study is to investigate whether employees, the most important production assets of organizations, develop organizational cynicism behavior due to the mobbing behavior they are exposed to, and to explore the possible mediating role of emotional exhaustion in this relationship. The research is based on the relational screening model and the sample consists of 328 white-collar private sector employees across Turkey. In the research, "Personal Information Form" was prepared to obtain employees' personal information, "Negative Behavior Scale" to determine employees' mobbing perception levels towards their organizations; "Organizational Cynicism Scale" was used to determine their perceptions of organizational cynicism, and "Emotional Exhaustion Scale" was used to determine emotional exhaustion levels. The data obtained from the research were analyzed with the SPSS program. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the research, employees' mobbing perception and organizational cynicism behaviors were used. A positive, significant relationship was detected between them. In addition, research findings reveal that Emotional exhaustion mediates the relationship between Mobbing and Organizational cynicism.
