Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to inform employees and especially employers who are obliged to protect the personal rights of their employees about the fact of mobbing (Psychological harassment, intimidation) which is a potential threat to today's working life, and to contribute the related literature. In this study, the historical development, stages, and dimensions of the phenomenon of mobbing were examined and a questionnaire was prepared and applied to investigate the awareness of employees about mobbing and the effects of mobbing on occupational health and safety. The questionnaire was applied to 214 employees from different qualifications and job positions. At the end of the study, it is shown that psychological harassment/mobbing is one of the major problems of working life and it affects occupational health and safety, regardless of the type, form, or reason of victimization. The psychological health of employees is the most important factor of occupational health and safety because psychology is everything in working life. In business life, where the fact of occupational health and safety has become law, the factor, effects, and consequences of psychological harassment should be considered.
