Abstract (EN)

As a modern fiction nation state, from 19 century have been so many political, social and economic researches. After a form of any political imperial era, many societies have determine down fate. They have approached to populations which they have "citizenship" link; with "single language, single religion, single government" arguments. Hence; nation state are secular and nationalist. In the period of manipulating nation state, ideologies that transform the society, practices are important in being a nation state. In Republician Turkey, the key actor in being national governmentis Kemalism. Similar experiments are seen in Ba'th regime in Syria. In this research; changes and similar/different effects of this changes in both Syria and Turkey are emphasized. Keywords: National-government, Baas, Kemalism, Nationalism, Secularism
