Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, the availability of sludge wastes formed in the Iron and Steel Industry as adsorbents in wastewater treatment systems was investigated. In this context, adsorption studies were carried out on wastewater containing synthetic dyestuffs and wastewater samples taken from a textile industry. Curuff, which is used as an adsorbent, has been covered with iron materials and its effectiveness has been tried to be increased. In the adsorption studies of synthetic wastewater sample and wastewater of textile industry, the parameters affecting adsorption (pH, amount of adsorbent, temperature, etc.) optimization studies have been carried out. As a result of the subsequent analysis, Langmuir, Freundlich, D-R and Temkin isotherm graphs were created. In the synthetic wastewater sample; In the adsorption studies with slag, the constant R2 with 0.98 was found to be in accordance with the Frendliuch isotherm mechanism. In studies with DKC, it can be said that it works in accordance with the Langmuir isotherm model with R2 0.999.
