Mulla Muhyiddîn Hâvelî and the critical edition, analysis and translation of his work "Risâletu'l-esas fi Ahkâmi'l-Haydi Ve'n-Nifas"

This study consist of investigation, analysis and translation of the work Risâletu'l-Esâs fi Ahkâmi'l-Haydi ve'n-Nifâs by Mollah Muhyiddîn Hâvelî (1909/1987). Hâvelî is a scholar who devoted his all life to the Islamic religion in the madrasah, lived in Siirt which was the center of science in the 20th century. Hâvelî, who is a member of the Shafii sect, wrote this work which he wrote in concise type in accordance with the request of those who asked him. In this work he discussed the issues of menstruation, postnatal andistihâze affecting women's worship, daily and social lives. In his work, the author firstly based the subjects according to the Shafii sect of which he and his circle belonged, and then explained the differences in other sects. In the first chapter, information was given about the life and works of Hâvelî. In the second chapter, Risâletu'l-Esas fi Ahkâmi'l-Haydi ve'n-Nifas was analysed. In the third chapter, the work was investigated and translated.
