An application about motivation's effects on personal career management

Abstract (EN)

One of the most important sources affecting the efficiency of the organization is the human. Thus, the effective use of the human factor raises issues such as motivation, career management, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The organizations, along with the right policies to be developed on these factors and through the correct use of the human factor, will ensure the competitiveness and sustainability. This study aims to reveal the relationship between individual career management and motivation. In our study, 12 questions on personal career management, 8 questions on motivation, and 7 questions on demographic structure were asked. The survey was conducted by 305 people in two different sectors, which are public and private sector in Istanbul. In the study, whether there is a significant relationship between personal career management and motivation was measured by correlation analysis. And also, whether there is a significant difference between personal career management and motivation, considering the demographic characteristics, was measured by T-test and ANOVA. High meaningful relationship is found between the motivation and personal career management by the analysis which is made by SPSS program.
