Abstract (EN)
The Effects of Salicylic Acid Application on The Physiologic and Biochemical Variations Induced by Cadmium and Copper in Corn (Zea mays L.) Seedling In this study, salicylic acid (SA) pretreatment on some parameters of the physiological and biochemical effects of alleviating or encouraging research aimed that different cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) concentrations in the maize of seedlings (Zea mays L. cv) against toxic effects caused. Maize (Zea mays L. cv) developed from the seeds 15 days old seedlings were used as material. Seeds were divided into two groups homogeneously with SA (0.5 mM) during 6 hours made and not made application of the pre-wetting. The seedlings grown from these seeds. Root hydroponic method was preferred in all applications that seedlings grown from the seeds. Then different concentrations of Cd and Cu were separately applied to these two groups and controls stored in themselves. Growth parameters, as increase in length, the amount of dry weight for per fresh weight were determined in different applications treated seedlings. Furthermore, the amount of pigment in the leaves and proline, malondialdehyde, glutathione and fatty acid content in the roots and leaves separately were analyzed. According to the results, SA prewetting developing from seeds that seedlings; The inhibitif effects was alleviated compared to corresponding group in growth parameters metal (Cd and Cu) resulting from administration. Similarly pigments (chlorophyll (a+b) and carotenoids) was less destruction in leaves. Generally; seedlings proline and increase in the amount of malondialdehyde was found to be lesson both leaves and roots in Cd and Cu treatments against that SA with a prewetting developing from seeds, compared to corresponding group. SA prewetting compared to seedlings; while the amount of glutathione decreases against the treatment of Cd and Cu in roots, different answers have been identified in the leaves. Namely, the amount of glutathione was found to be Cd treatment increasing in leaves, while to decrease in Cu application, the seedlings as compared to SA. Cd and Cu treatments against, SA prewetting with exchange of fatty acids in the seedlings developing from seeds; palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid in both root and leaves decreased, is not found in the roots. Linoleic acid decreased, while linolenic acid increased in leaves. However, linoleic acid decreased of Cd treatment in roots, while treatment of Cu increased against to in root. Linoleic acid was not found to Cd treatment in the roots, again Cu treatment increased in roots. Keywords: Zea mays, Salicylic Acid, Cadmium, Copper, Toxic Effect.
