Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all realms. May Allah's blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. The knowledge of hadith terminology is of paramount importance within the field of Islamic sciences, as it pertains to the noble Prophetic tradition. Scholars have produced valuable works in this domain, among which is Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani's book titled "Nazhat al-Nazr fi Tawdih Nukhbat al-Fikr fi Mustalah Ahl al- Athar" (852 AH). This work stands out as one of the finest and most beneficial summaries, widely recognized and accepted by scholars. It has been subject to commentaries, explanations, and regulations. One such commentator is Sheikh Muhammad al-Mudurni (post-1136 AH) who has provided an esteemed and insightful commentary. He meticulously gathered scattered references and explanations from previous works, summarized and interpreted them, while also making valuable additions. Then this valuable commentary has been published. I had the honor of examining and studying the third section of this commentary, relying on three manuscript copies. This research was conducted as a meticulous examination of the chain of narration, presented as a Master's thesis in Islamic Sciences at Sultan Mehmet Fatih Waqf University in Istanbul.
