Investigation of the points of divergence between established theoretical approaches and current practice in the design of museum areas through the museums designed in Turkey after the 2000s

The development organization of museums that contribute to people culturally throughout their history varies according to periods. Progress has been made by using different styles on the grounds that each understanding or style has changed over time and with the reflection of these changes on the structures. The word change covers many areas in this study. Change is not only current systems where innovations are applied, but also has meanings such as imitating, inspiring, bringing together the old and the new. Compared to the old times of the museums; nowadays it is seen that it has more extensive usage positions. Today, museum spaces have been accepted as different activity spaces and have increased the rate of people visiting museums by increasing their functionality in interactive and cultural areas. The aim of this study is to examine the understanding and display styles of the museum spaces in our country in the past, and the architectural forms in terms of style and design, the development and change processes in the last hundred years and the reasons for their disintegration.
