Abstract (EN)

In this study; the obtained using of photocatalytic feature of TiO2, which is a semiconductor, is used to produce self-cleaning fabrics that can be recovered from organic pollutants by solar radiation and to bring these fabrics into the textile sector. Combining TiO2 or different metal oxides with nanostructures has provided effective processable properties to the textile industry. With this study, the fabric is visibly cleaned up from the pollutants applied on it without considering of the general characteristics of it (raw material, color, etc). The properties of the fabric such as rupture, elongation and removal, thickness, strength, etc. were guiding for later study. Keywords: TiO2, Nano, Photocatalytic, Self-Cleaning
