The narration of Nezihe Meriç

In this study, the stories of Nezihe Meriç have been examined; therefore thenarration characteristics of the writer have been found out. The method used hasfocused on the stories of Nezihe Meriç.Nezihe Meriç who has written novels, dramas and books for children is knownby her narrator identity. The writer with her own style is one of the first female storywriter in the Republic period.The writer who has mostly narrated the world of the women presents theinstances of the combative women?s lives. She deals with the issues of the women whoare disappointed due to the social stresses with sensebility of an intellectual woman.The life of the writer and the work of art have been enlightened in our studycomposed of three parts. Focusing on the stories, the influences within the stories havebeen found out. Under the title ?The Narration of Nezihe Meriç? the stories of the writerhave been studied in the view of both the content and the style.In our study, it has been aimed to emphasize the Nezihe Meriç?s career in theTurkish Narration and the contributions to the Turkish Narration.
