Abstract (EN)
In this research, orthogonality concepts in normed linear spaces and the orthogonality types in the taxicab geometry are examined. The thesis are composed of five chapter. In the first chapter, literature information is given. In the second chapter, the basic concepts of the Euclidean geometry and 13 axioms of Euclidean geometry are mentioned. In the third chapter, by identifying taxicab geometry, the similarities and the differences between Euclidean geometry and taxicab geometry are explained. In the fourth chapter, the basic properties of the orthogonality in inner product spaces are given. In the fifth chapter, the basic properties and several types of the orthogonality are examined in the taxicab geometry.
