ABSTRACT ACOUSTICAL PRECAUTIONS AND MILTI PURPOSE USAGE OF AUDITORIUMS Çiğdem YÜCEL (M.S.) Gazi üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü ANKARA, ŞUBAT 1987 At a present day, as a result of rapid changes and developments of social structure and variety in demonstrative arts together with their newly gained dimensions, constructing auditoriums just for a single function can not be considered as a rational solution. In this thesis due to lack of literature on this subject; the main goal is definition of architecturel parameters within the acoustic design principles and applicability of theoritical problems on newly developing mult i purpose auditoriums; in order to assist the architects interested with the subject and also to prevent constructions of improper buildings. -iv-
