The administrative problems in public primary schools with over 1000 students: The sample of Sarıyer Istanbul

In this thesis the difficulties that the directors of schools has to deal with are taken charge of. This thesis is research in primary schools which exist of 1000 student in each school in Sarıyer İSTANBUL. The samples of this study is 44 directors that is working in Sarıyer district primary schools that exist of at least 1000 students. This research consist of 4 sections. İn the first section you will see Educatıon , the system of Turkısh Educatıon and the prımay schools in Sarıyer. İn the second sectıon Manegement, Educatıon and School Administratıon are researched. İnformatıon about the district Sarıyer are found in the third sectıon. The finding of the research are explained in the fourth section. The surveys that the school directors has applied consist of two sections. İn the first part there is questıons about the difficultıes they have to be faced, in the second part there are questıons asked for personal informatıon.Due to the research findings the difficultıes that the shool directors has to face with is Bureaucratical, Structural , Cultural and Commuucatıonal complicatıons.Key Words: Educatıon, Administration, Primary school, School Administratıon, School Director
