Learning difficulties, learning and teaching process in Turkey despite the name often heard misconceptions and that is enough of an unknown field of special education. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the problems faced by students who have difficulties in learning in primary school according to their family views. In this study, a descriptive scanning model was used. In the study, one-way case pattern was used as the internal qualitative research patterns. The working group of the study formed a family of 15 students in primary school in the provinces of Küçükçekmece and Avcılar in Istanbul in the academic year 2016-2017, who had a learning disability. The data of this study were obtained by a semi-structured interview technique with the families of the students with learning disabilities in the study group. It has been found that the students who have learning difficulties start the process of diagnosis by recognition of the class teacher. It has been determined that students who have learning difficulties can be recognized as "Learning Disability" in the upper classes because of the problems arising from the legislation and the process of diagnosis. It was determined that these students had the most learning difficulties in literacy area. It has been seen that the teachers of students with learning disabilities did not prepare an individualized education program. It has been determined that the school administration and guidance services have not conducted a study to solve the problem other than routine practices in the legislation. It has been determined that some students who have learning disabilities due to the reasons of the module in the diagnosis system of the Ministry of National Education have a diagnosis of "Mental Disability at Mild Level". Social acceptance has been realized by students, teachers and friends who have learning difficulties. It has been found that students who are studying in the same class and who are not experiencing a child learning disability are exposed to social isolation by their parents. It is proposed to raise awareness of classroom teachers, pre-school teachers and families about learning difficulties and to inform them.
