Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between individual and social responsibility, professional burnout, and religiosity in teachers. This study consists of two basic parts. In the first part, I presented theoretical and conceptual background about the topics. In the second part, I analyzed the collected data regarding the expected relationships. In this way, I addressed the connection between the theoretical foundations of the subject and related empirical findigs. I used the correlational research method, which is a quantitative research method, in the study. The population of the research includes all teachers aged 20-51 and above working within Ağrı Provincial National Education and its District Directorate of National Education in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consists of 394 people, 63.2% women (n=249) and 36.8% men (n=145), selected by random sampling. In the data collection, I used survey technique via a questionnaire form including Individual and Responsibility Scale, Professional Fatigue/Burnout/Recovery Scale (OFER) religiosity scale, and personal information sheet comprising socio-demographic information of the participants. I analyzed the data collected from the participants by using the SPSS 25.0 statistical software. These analyses enabled me to make a more in-depth examination and interpretation regarding the data. I used Independent sample T-test to determine the differences in the mean scores of two group variables. I also run One-Way ANOVA test to see whether there are mean differences among variables with three or more groups. Additionally, I conducted Pearson Correlation Analysis to address the direction and predictive power of the relationship among the focal variables of the study. The research findings demonstrated that there were relationships between (a) socio-demographic variables and individual and social responsibility, (b) individual and social responsibility and professional burnout, (c) individual and social responsibility and religiosity sub-dimensions, and (d) there was no relationship between occupational burnout and religiosity sub-dimensions.
