Abstract (EN)

Herein, it has been endeavored to determine the relation between the perception of organizational justice and level of organizational commitment of teachers'. Population is comprised of teachers working at state and private schools in Turkey. By virtue of the difficulty of reaching the population, sampling survey has been preferred. Sample group consist of teachers working in seven (7) geographical regions of Turkey, which are Marmara, Central Anatolia, Aegean, Black Sea, Mediterranean, East Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia Regions. In determining the number of samples, simple random sampling is used. In the thesis, the answers to the survey questions of 679 teachers working at state and private schools as to the relation between the organizational justices applied and level of organizational commitment are analyzed. Two scales are used in the thesis. First is the adapted form of scale that prepared by Niehoff and Moorman (1993) and used by Yıldırım (2002) consisting 18 questions, a five point likert scale "the Organizational Justice". The Organizational Justice scale, which consists of 20 clauses, is based on three sub-dimensions as distributive, operative and transactional justice. The second one is, a 15 question organizational commitment scale, developed by Mowday, Steers and Porter. Consequently, it has been understood that; there is a significant relation between the levels of teachers' perception of organizational justice and organizational commitment, and that the most substantial relation is between the transactional justice and organizational commitment. Also, it is determined that there is significant relation between perceptions of organizational justice and level of organizational commitment in due to the demographical factors and comments made on them accordingly.
