Okul öncesi çaği çocuklarinda liderlik eğitimi

The purpose of this research is to design a program in order to develop leadership skills and to test the program which is "Leaders Of The Future" program. The program for leadership education has five basic dimensions to educate students. These dimensions are; basic leadership notions, recognition of self and others, working in groups and cooperation, communication and problem solving. Program was implemented by researcher during 5 weeks, for about half an hour everyday. The study is in experimental method. The sample of the study consist of 24 preschool (12 students in sample and 12 in control group) students in Akşemsettin Elementery School in 2012-2013 academic year. A scale for identifying leadership skills (Leadership Observation Form) is developed by the researcher to determine leadership skills of the students and it is used to collect data for study. The data obtained from the study is analyzed with proper statistical analyses. According to the findings of this research, program of ''Leaders of the Futures'' which is prepared for improving leadership skills supports improving leadership skills in parts of basic leadership notions, recognizing self and others, working in groups and collaboration, communication and problem solving; at the same time, pupils' leadership skills are not different from each other in gender.
