Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of organizational climate among educators working as pre-school teachers in public institutions in the province of Hakkari, based on their demographic characteristics and the type of institution they work for. The population of the research consists of 328 pre school teachers serving in all educational institutions in the central district and districts of Hakkari in the 2023-2024 academic year. Due to incomplete responses to the scale and non-responses from participants, the final sample consists of 206 teachers. In the research using the survey model, the "Organizational Climate Scale" was used to collect data. The Cronbach's alpha value of the scale was found, and its validity and reliability were ensured. The scale consists of six dimensions. In the analysis of the data, frequency and percentage distribution, mean scores and standard deviation, t-test to test the significance of the difference between means, and analysis of variance for more than two independent variables were used, and a significance level of 0.05 was taken for reliability level in significance calculations. In the findings obtained according to the type of school, a significant difference in favor of kindergarten was found in the dimensions of supportive principal behavior, friendly teacher behavior, and collaborative teacher behavior. While there were significant differences in some dimensions of organizational climate in terms of gender, age, and education level, it can be said that the effect of professional years and the success certificates they received in their profession is not significant.
