Aspects of school directors 'inspection course their contributions to their vocational development teachers

The purpose of this research is to identify the contributions of school administrators to the professional developments of the branch teachers with the course supervisions. Target population of the study is the branch teachers working in 19 institutions in Ataşehir District in the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Data have been derived via surveys obtained from the branch teachers. Starting from the specified survey, it is endeavored to identify the level of positive or negative contributions of school administrators to the contributions of professional developments of the branch teachers with their course supervisions. Before the section of findings and analysis about the survey results, nearly every single concept has been included and clarified. The concepts related to the administration and the theories related to the concepts have been given place and thereafter it is endeavored to clarify the administration processes. Concepts, factors and theories related to the administration processes have been explained and it has been aimed to introduce the research on school administrators in line with these explanations. In which fields and how school administrators may contribute to the professional developments of the branch teachers with their course supervisions have been declared. School administrators should be objective during the supervisions and certainly avoid taking sides. These neutrality and objectivity factors are one of the most significant factors for the professional developments of the branch teachers. First of all, the frequency, percentage and the standard deviation values for the whole independent variables have been set forth in the analysis of the data. A T-test and a unilateral analysis of variance have been performed to determine whether there is a significant difference between the questions in "The Contributions of School Administrators to the Professional Developments of the Branch Teachers With The Course Supervisions" and relevant teacher opinions, and thereafter "The Scheffe Test", one of the supplemental analysis, has been applied to identify the source of the difference obtained. Findings related to the contributions of school administrators to the professional developments of the branch teachers with the course supervision have been found. It is observed that the school administrators should always take the activities which will provide professional developments for the teachers in consideration during the course supervision. Proposals have been suggested in the light of the findings obtained via the research.
