Abstract (EN)

In this study, teachers' perceptions of nepotism towards school administrators and their level of ‎organizational forgiveness in the face of negative situations experienced in schools were investigated. ‎The research was conducted with the participation of 540 teachers working in elementary and secondary ‎public schools in the province of Siirt in the 2019-2020 academic year by using the relational survey ‎model.‎ The data of the study were obtained by using the "Favoritsm Scale in School Management" and ‎‎"Organizational Forgiveness Scale." In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way ‎analysis of variance (Anova) techniques as well as correlation and regression analysis were used. ‎Additionally, Tukey test was also used to determine the source of the significant difference obtained ‎from the results of one-way analysis of variance.‎ The findings of the study show that the level of favoritsm of school administrators is perceived ‎by teachers at the level of "rarely". In addition, it was determined that the teachers' exhibiting forgiving ‎behaviors were at a "medium" level.‎ In addition, it was determined that there was no meaningful relationship between teachers' ‎perceptions of favoritism towards school administrators and their forgiving behaviors at school, and that ‎teachers' perceptions of favoritism were not predictive of their forgiving behaviors‎
