The person names of Ordu region

In this study, the names given to children in Ordu region between 2010 and 2015 are evaluated under 6 titles respectively; "Introduction", "Structure of the Names whose Origin Comes from Turkish Language", "Nouns from Eastern and Western Languages", "Statistics and Tables", "List of Person Names" and "Dictionary". In the "Introduction" section, the name, onomastic, anthroponomy, the elements that play a role in naming, and the tradition of naming pre- and post-Islamic Turks are tackled. In the "Structure of the Names whose Origin Comes from Turkish Language" section, the structure of the people names comes from the Turkish language existing in the study has been revealed. In the section "Names From Eastern and Western Languages", the structure of the names of Arabic origin names was examined , the information about the names of Persian and Western people in the study were given. In the "Voice Incıdent in Person Names", the most common voice incidents in names have been talked. "The Statistics and Tables" section consist of the statistics showing the frequency of usage in the counties according to the structure and origins of the person names In the "List of Person Names" section, there are names listed in alphabetical order recorded within the scope of this research. And also in the "Dictionary" section, the names and meanings of the names in "List of Person Names" are included. At the end of the work, there is a "Bibliography" section in which the works are utilized while the thesis is being prepared.
